First of all, let me say that I am truly humbled by how amazing my twenty.ten was. I met some really awesome people and my business really thrived in just it’s second year. I’m really grateful for this opportunity and for each of my clients. And I’m eager to see what twenty.eleven holds in store for Marinda Fowler Photography!

I wanted to go through all of my client sessions from twenty.ten and pick out my favorites. I had no idea just how difficult that would be! I love all my client images. However, I had to narrow them down. So, I chose my top ten. But I couldn’t just leave it at the ten I had chosen. So I have added an album on my Facebook page that has some of my favorites from the year.

It was as I was getting ready to make this post that I realized two things:  1.  I really love black and white photos.  2.  I really love silhouette photos.

Now, without further ado, the Best of 2010 through my eyes.

There you have it.  My top ten in twenty.ten.  Thanks for sharing your lives with me.  I look forward to seeing all of you in twenty.eleven!

Edited in PS (cs5).  I first adjusted curves, dodged and burned where needed to get my base layer.  Then I ran “Heaven” (an OTSS action from the Daydreams set).  Then I added a texture from Paint The Moon.  I could have been done there because it was already beautiful.  However, I wanted to kick it up a notch.  So… I added in a texture from my personal collection.  Then for the fun of it, added in another texture from my personal collection.  Again, could have been done, but thought it needed just one more little something.  Sooo… I ran “Fake HDR” from Ashley McNamara

And it was good.
